Dear Friend,

Welcome, ALL, to the Wiccopee Community United Methodist Church!

In the name of Jesus Christ, we welcome all people, in the immediate Wiccopee community and beyond, to join us as we experience God’s love during worship and other activities throughout the year. As pastor, I encourage you to look through the web site and to get an introductory idea of who we are and what we do as a church family and out in the world.  Also, check our Facebook page with present happenings and upcoming event to which all are welcome.

When you are ready to learn more, plan a personal visit with us some Sunday. If you would like to know more about the church before attending, please email me at darlene.resling@nyac-umc.com.  While we are a friendly church that enjoys laughter, we strongly believe that God has a plan for His church in Wiccopee, but for each person’s life.  Do you know God’s plan for you?  Perhaps you will hear it in Wiccopee!

When you join us for a worship service, you will quickly find yourself in a family setting that welcomes everyone. Come as you are! Bring your joys, your pains, your questions, and your desires to learn more about God in this Spirit-filled family. Join us in Bible-based worship that lifts spirits with God’s Holy word. Fellowship time follows immediately after the service in the fellowship building, lower level, across the street.  Again, all are invited to share in conversation and refreshments.

*Please note that during the Pandemic and sheltering procedures, online worship is presently ongoing every Sunday at our regular time (9 a.m. winter schedule.) Services are added online following that worship event.  Please follow Facebook for any changes.

You might agree that if people ever needed a place, and way, to connect with God as a source of lifetime guidance, it is now. We all need to hear and remember the Scriptural words that God will never leave us, even in the darkest and most desperate times of our lives. We need to be reminded and assured of the forgiving and eternal love that comes through God’s son, Jesus Christ. And, we all need to hear words of hope. This is what you will hear as you find your special place here, in the Wiccopee family.

Come.

We are waiting for you!

In Christ’s love,

Pastor Darlene

Rev. Dr. Darlene E.R. Resling
